GP Home Visits

Doctor's bagIf you feel you are to unwell to come in to the Practice or are housebound and need a home visit, please telephone 0161 762 1515 where possible before 10:30am.

Inform the Receptionist of why you would like the GP to visit and provide a contact number.

Home visit are usually carried out following morning surgeries and therefore, where possible, if you can arrange to attend you will be seen sooner.  There may be times when it is more appropriate for an examination to be carried out in a clinical setting.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
