Dr Shobha Chacko

I have been a GP since 2002 and joined Peel GPs in 2006.  Prior to this I specialised in Obstetric and Gynaecology including Family Planning and worked in this speciality for over 12 years.  My special interests include women's health, family planning.  You can book an appointment in my weekly Family Planning clinic to discuss the options available to you.

Since obtaining the Diploma in Diabetic care from Warwick University, I have an additional interest in caring for patients who have Diabetes.  Together with a Diabetes Specialist Nurse,  I run monthly clinics where we will discuss how best to manage your diet, medication, insulin and general wellbeing.

Dr Hubber and myself are both involved in training medical students and doctors.  We have 1st and 2nd year medical students and Foundations doctors (who are qualified) but wish to gain experience in the Community and General Practice.
